EEG
EEG stands for Electroencephalogram. It's a test that measures the electrical activity in your brain.
How does it work?
- Electrodes: Small, metal discs (electrodes) are attached to your scalp.
- Brainwaves: These electrodes detect the tiny electrical charges produced by the activity of your brain cells.
- Recording: The electrical signals are amplified and recorded, appearing as wavy lines on a computer screen or paper.
